Rainy day and winter blues? Lets shoo them away with a make-believe beach messy play! It’s time to use those shells collected during your summer holidays and get your little one involved in adding sand to a container and scooping / pouring containers. This is a lovely activity to explore texture as you can play with dry sand first and then add water to see what happens and how different it feels. Combining a pretend play, you can lead your child’s imagination and see where that takes both of you. Let them tell a story and follow their curiosity as they explore their own ideas on how to do things. Giving children freedom to explore their own ideas and curiosity is one of the best things parents can do for their development.
