Treasure baskets
One of the best ways to nurture a baby’s curiosity is making a treasure basket. Babies are fascinated by anything they can explore by using their senses. The treasure basket is exactly that; a collection of objects that babies can investigate. Moving from being always on their tummy or back to sitting, makes the babies curious to explore this new perspective of the world around them. When choosing things to put in the basket you need to think of all the senses and how the objects can be explored by your baby. It is a valuable exploration journey for your baby and an enjoyable type of play that will keep them involved and focused for quite some time. Your role will be to observe, not interfere. Smile and provide safety for your baby while they start this exploration journey.
