SOUZU Santa Competition Terms and Conditions

 

1. The promoter is SOUZU Ltd (company no 08688419) whose registered office is at 39 Gwendolen Avenue, London SW15 6EP.

2. The competition is open to residents of the (United Kingdom) aged 18 years or over except employees of SOUZU and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.

3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

4. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

5. Route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter are via Instagram, facebook and https://souzu.co.uk/pages/souzu-santa-comp.

5. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.

7. Closing date for entry will be 16th December 2021. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

8. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

9. The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:

Simply enter your contact details, including name, postcode and the word that sums up Christmas to you. 

Dates you will need to be available to receive the prize. 

22nd December - Between 5/5:30pm

23rd December - Between 5/5:30pm

These may be subject to change closer to the time.

Once a date has been confirmed with the winner and the SOUZU team it cannot be changed.

This competition is intended for a child/children between the ages of 2 to 8. 

The prize is restricted by location and is only intended for the UK.

 

10. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. 

11. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

12. The prize is as follows:

Santa will be provided by the company Magical Quests, and will be available for a 15 min zoom call on the specified and agreed date. You will be sent a form to fill in prior to the call which will enable Santa to personalize the chat.

The Zoom link must be provided by the competition winner at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled call.

In addition, SOUZU will send a gift wrapped, age specific toy for the child receiving the call.

The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

13. Winners will be chosen at random by software, from all entries received and verified by SOUZU. 

14. The winner will be notified by email within 2 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 2 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

 

15. The promoter will notify the winner when and where the delivery of the prize will take place.

16. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

17. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

18. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

19. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, including social media and online, as well as their entry. 
20. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current [UK] data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
21. The winner’s name will be available 28 days after closing date by emailing the following address Souzu@souzu.co.uk
22. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
23. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to SOUZU and not to any other party. The information provided will be used in conjunction with the following Privacy Policy found at https://souzu.co.uk/pages/privacy-policy.
24. SOUZU‘s decision as to those able to take part and selection of winners is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.
25. SOUZU shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.
26. SOUZU also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
27. It will be then be the clients expense to provide funds and pay before the event for any new costumes, props or sets that are required to create this new production.
28. Unless otherwise agreed beforehand Magical Quests will retain the ownership of the party theme and new script and also any costumes and props that make up the new production.
29. Thereafter Magical Quests retains the right to re-sell this party if it proves popular.
30. To maintain the quality that Magical Quests are proud of, there is a maximum number of guests that can attend some events which you will be advised before the prize is confirmed.
31. At all times the performers will act responsibly and will use their best endeavours to ensure their own safety.
32. In the circumstances Magical Quests and SOUZU accept no liability or responsibility for any of its employees’ tortious conduct.
33. Magical Quests confirms that all its employees have had CRB checks and have signed a Personal Disclosure Form pursuant to the Protection of Children Act 1999.
34. Magical Quests confirms that none of its employees has been included on the Sex Offenders Register or is otherwise known to the Police or any Local Authority Social Services Department, or any employer, as being an actual or potential risk to children.
35. All materials and writing provided are the sole copyright of Magical Quests and SOUZU. EXPRESSLY NO COPYING IS ALLOWED.
36. In the first instance any dispute should be decided by an arbitrator appointed by Equity. 
37. To release the prize the winner will need to agree to the terms and conditions in relation to the event supplied by Magical Quests. 

41. This contract is governed by the Law of England and Wales.
